Information we collect
BayitBridge stores account and security information, family-space membership, child information supplied by a parent, schedules, decisions and responses, expense records, messages, notification choices, trusted-helper proposals, documents and attachments, feedback reports, and security or audit events. The private beta does not sell personal information or run behavioral advertising.
How we use information
We use information to authenticate users, operate private family spaces, calculate balances, display schedules and Jewish dates, deliver requested reminders when enabled, prevent abuse, investigate security issues, support users, and comply with applicable law. BayitBridge does not use family data to decide custody, legal rights, or religious-law outcomes.
Who can see family information
Active co-parents can see information shared in their family space. A trusted helper receives only the scope approved by both co-parents. Infrastructure providers may process limited data to host, secure, back up, or deliver the service. Helper invitations and automatic outbound email remain limited during the beta.
Children’s information
BayitBridge is intended for adult parents or guardians, not for children to create accounts. A parent who enters child information represents that they have authority to do so and should enter only what is reasonably needed for co-parenting.
Security
BayitBridge recommends two-factor authentication and warns users who choose password-only access. Passwords are hashed, authentication secrets are encrypted, access is scoped to private family spaces, and security events are logged. No system is perfectly secure; users must protect their devices, passwords, authenticators, and invitation codes.
Retention and deletion
Messages and audit history are designed to remain unedited in the shared product record. When an account-deletion request is verified, BayitBridge deletes or de-identifies personal data associated only with that account, subject to legal retention duties, fraud and safety needs, valid preservation requests, and the rights of other family-space participants. Shared records may be retained where another participant has an independent right to the record. Backups age out on an operational schedule.
AI and legal information
AI features are disabled in the current beta. If enabled later, BayitBridge will disclose what information is sent to a model provider, apply usage controls, and label general educational output as non-legal and non-religious advice.
Your choices and contact
Users can control non-essential notifications. Essential security and account notices may still be sent. To request access, correction, export, or deletion, use the support and account-deletion pages or email katz.abraham.j@gmail.com.
